The Surgery
Dr. Bounds and he Anesthesiologist have your safety and comfort in mind. After surgery in the Operating Suite, you will awake from the surgery in the Recovery Room, attended by a Registered Nurse. Once you are fully awake you may then go home with a family member or trusted close friend.
Typically, you should be able to return to work within ten days to two weeks, depending on the level of activity required for your job. Aerobic activities, alcohol, steam baths and saunas may be restricted for several months. Dr. Bounds staff will instruct you, at your follow-up appointment, on the effective use of camouflage makeup.
