Liposuction
     Liposuction, also called suction lipectomy, is the most popular and fastest growing plastic surgery procedures in America. For millions of people, who are striving to improve their appearance, liposuction can remove fat that exercise cannot.

     Liposuction is particularly well suited for individuals whose weight may be at or near normal. The Surgery
     As an outpatient, Dr. Bounds and his Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist have your safety and comfort in mind. After surgery in the Operating Suite, you will awake from the surgery in the Recovery Room, attended by a Registered Nurse. Once you’re fully awake you may then go home with a family member or trusted close friend.

     Typically, you should be able to return to light activities in 24 hours, and to work within four to seven days, depending on the level of activity required for your job. Aerobic activities may be restricted for seven to ten days.
